Guardian ad Litem

A Guardian ad Litem is an advocate for the child/children. Our goal is to protect the child's safety. The Guardian ad Litem is a neutral party with only the child's best interest in mind. 

 

The Guardian ad Litem represents and protected the best interest of a child and provides the child with services requested by the court including researching, examining, advocating, facilitating and monitoring the child(ren) situation.

 

A Guardian ad Litem can be appointed in a variety of cases such as Paternity, Guardianship, Divorce, Adoptions, Juvenile Delinquency and Child In Need of Services (CHINS) cases.
